Delighted to see pupils of Knockskeagh N.S. and I was confirmed with them as Dad RIP was principal there 1960 to 1981. He died in 1985 from adrenal gland cancer. I still have my lemon Confirmation dress..wreath and veil and prayer book and cross and chain. I brought them to the NationalTreasures exhibition /event a few years ago.
I lived in Leap as Dad was from there and Mam from Skibbereen RIP 2013.
